Muri The Four Horsemen
The Four Horsemen is a meeting of two cities and two obsessions. Muri joined forces with the New York wine bar of the same name, one of the most revered in the city, to make an alcohol-free still red unlike the others in the range. It's deep, silky, and complex, built as much from the savoury pantry as from fruit, and best enjoyed with a proper meal.
Tasting Notes
Sour cherry leads, ripe and generous, giving the drink its rich red heart. Beneath it, tomato and beetroot bring a genuine savoury depth, almost more like a rich reduction, while green peppercorn and bay leaf add a warm, culinary spice. The body is silky and full, the acidity balanced and fresh, and the finish is long, dry, and gently peppery. A red that blurs the line between drink and dish.
Pairs well with
Rich, hearty food is where this shines: roasted red meat, slow-cooked stews, or anything off the barbecue. Its spice and depth make it great with grilled mushrooms, aged cheese, or a rich ragù. Serve lightly chilled, and treat it as you would a characterful red.
