Funky Orange
Funky Orange is Gnista's take on orange wine — a characterful, slightly wild category of skin-contact whites that sits between a white and a red. Unlike dealcoholized wines, Gnista builds their drinks from scratch combining botanicals and modern gastronomy with culinary creativity, no grapes involved. The wonderful result is something that captures the spirit of orange wine without the alcohol.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with aromatic hops and pine, with Swedish cloudberries adding a soft, tart fruitiness underneath. On the palate, expect a round mouthfeel with more body than a typical white, balanced by clean acidity. The finish is dry with a subtle white pepper kick. Funky, bold, and not trying to be anything else.
