Gnista - Barreled Oak
Dark, smoky, and built around the character of oak, Gnista Barreled Oak is a spirit alternative crafted from scratch using botanicals, spices, and distillation techniques. Tasting Notes
The nose is immediately distinctive: dried fruit, warm spice, and a strong herbal character, with hints of smoke and oak underneath. On the palate, chocolate rye, raisins, and ginger come forward, balanced by a pleasant bitter and sweet interplay. The finish is dry, smoky, and lingering, with a gentle pepper warmth.
How to serve
Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks as a slow evening drink. Works well with a splash of ginger ale or soda for a longer serve. A natural base for alcohol-free cocktails: an Old Fashioned or a highball with ginger beer are both great starting points.
