Aria II
Aria II is the lightest, most refreshing drink in the Tempera range, made in the spirit of a rosé and destined for summer or warm autumn afternoons. Red berries and strawberry give it a soft fruitiness, white tea infused with lychee and rose brings a floral delicacy, and Timut pepper, a rare Nepalese pepper with bright grapefruit notes, lifts the whole thing with a zesty, almost menthol freshness. Composed from fruits, tea, and spice by three-Michelin-star chef Mauro Colagreco and tea expert Arielle Bove, it is delicate, low in sugar, and endlessly easy to drink.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with a rush of red fruit, flowers, and citrus, lychee leading, then turning greener and zestier. On the palate, the attack is bright and fruity, all strawberry and red berries, before Timut pepper takes over and fills the mouth with a lively, citrusy freshness that lingers. Light-bodied, barely sweet, and thirst-quenching, it is the freshest, most easy-going drink Tempera makes.
Pairs well with
Aria II asks for warm weather and easy food. Serve it very cold as an aperitif, or alongside a salad, grilled vegetables, goat cheese, or barbecued white meats and fish. Its tangy lightness cuts cleanly through richer plates, and it finishes happily with fruit sorbets or a red berry dessert. Just as good on its own, over ice, on a slow afternoon.
